Holidex Outage?

    Is anyone else having a trouble connecting to Holidex? We lost our connection Wednesday late afternoon, and still haven't gotten it back. Our general manager spent almost 6 hours on hold before he got to talk to somebody about it, and all they did is brush him off, saying call back if you reconnect. Our satellite modem is showing all green status indicators, so I've got no clue what the trouble is.

    We finally heard back from tech support Friday. Apparently it was an issue w/ a system update for fast connect failing during download. Mind you, they haven't even officially installed it at our property yet, so who knows.

    Believe it or not I miss Holidex. Dont get me wrong I am a die hard Opera PMS fan, but the Opera Reservation System has a lot to be desired when you compare it to what Holidex is capable of...
